Choosing a Search Engine
In November, the Data Byte discussed the merits of the best Internet Browsers.
In January, we will review the merits of various search engines. I searched Google for the best search engines. It listed 131 million of them. I will report on each of them (NOT!).
Many of these deal only with certain areas. I will be reporting on about a dozen of the most used, such as Google ® and Bing ®

Charles F. MizePresident's Notes

We will have a great deal of business t to cover before our Christmas meal.

December is the month for election of officers and planning for the year 2010.
We will also vote on donation of a monetary gift to the library for the use of the room and all of the other services they provide. The library generally uses the money to purchase books (usually computer books). We are very fortunate to have such a great place to meet each month.
There will a schedule of meeting dates for the year. We usually meet on the first Saturday of the month, but holidays and other conflicts sometimes require a change.
